Gregg Buckley – Co-Founder, Atlas Nationwide Inc.

Gregg Buckley graduated in 1984 from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Soon after, he joined CB Commercial Real Estate (now CB Richard Ellis and specialized in the sale of investment and apartment properties. In 1995, Gregg joined Northeast Savings Bank as a real estate broker to dispose of their single family assets in the state of California. Through a series of acquisitions, Gregg became employed by Residential Funding Corp then GMAC in San Diego in the capacity of Senior VP of Real Estate – GMAC/RFC REO Division until 2004 and managed an REO staff of 70 associates, with an average asset portfolio size of 6500 assets. During that period, GMAC REO division consistently surpassed investor benchmarks and established and maintained favorable designations with top industry rating agencies. Seeing a need in the mortgage banking industry for companies to dispose of single family, institutional owned real estate, Gregg co-founded Atlas REO Services with David Hovley in 2004.

David Hovley – Co-Founder, Atlas Nationwide Inc.

David Hovley graduated from San Diego State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. During and immediately after college, David joined CB Commercial Real Estate Services (Now CB Richard Ellis) and specialized in the sale and leasing for industrial warehouse and manufacturing facilities in the US and throughout Mexico. In 1997, David joined the REO Division of GMAC/RFC as a team lead Asset Manager and Sales Specialist. During his 7 year tenure at GMAC/RFC, David lead a 15 person Asset Management team, was instrumental in establishing new and innovative policies and procedures and worked closely with the IT/Software Development team in creating various REO software platforms. In addition, David is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and has been heavily involved with the retail sale and marketing of private and REO residential real estate. In 2004, David co-founded Atlas REO Services with Gregg Buckley with a collective mission/vision of combining a vast array of knowledge, expertise, innovation and ethics to become a premier supplier of private and institutional real estate services on a national level.

Ryan Duncan – Senior Vice President

After graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in Economics, Ryan began his career in loan servicing with GMAC-RFC where he was responsible for thousands of loan workouts. With Atlas Nationwide since 2005, he has helped grow the company’s REO division to nearly 200 employees while overseeing the management and disposition of over 100,000 properties worth nearly $15 billion dollars. Ryan has been a licensed real estate broker since 2005 and maintains an active broker’s license in both Colorado and California. In addition to his role as an SVP for Atlas Nationwide, Ryan now serves as the Employing Broker for Invested Real Estate Group. Ryan is a Colorado native and currently resides in Highlands Ranch with his wife and two boys. In his free time he enjoys golfing, flying and ranching.

Patrick McClain – Senior Vice President

Patrick McClain is an effective and engaging leader and has built a reputation for clearly understanding the numerous drivers that shape strategies of both Servicers and GSEs and the ability to translate those drivers into effective operations. Patrick joined Atlas Nationwide in October 2009, leading the REO Asset Management Services division along with Ryan Duncan. He has also been responsible for the development of our Dallas location and has worked closely with the rest of the executive team in its business development efforts. Prior to joining Atlas Nationwide, Patrick spent 12 years with GMAC Mortgage and served as Senior Vice President responsible for the Enterprise REO group, responsible for the management of GMAC’s REO portfolio. Patrick also oversaw the integration of the two REO platforms under the GMAC servicing umbrella and for multiple system integrations. When away from the office, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife Katie and their three energetic kids along with mountain biking and suffering through a few triathlons each year.

Laura Branca – Vice President/Closing and Title Services

Laura Branca is recognized as an ambitious leader with an exceptional reputation in the title and closing industry. Laura’s depth of experience and abundant industry knowledge make her a true stand out. Prior to joining Atlas Nationwide, Laura earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO, and started working in the title insurance industry in California in 1986, first as a Title Examiner and later as a Trustee Sale Guarantee Title Officer and Commercial/Subdivision Title Officer. She then spent 7 years in Ohio where she excelled as a Closing Officer and Licensed Title Agent, perfecting her title acumen and strengthening her knowledge of the interstate nuances of title insurance and closing processes. Upon returning to California in 1999 she managed an Escrow Office specializing in residential resale, land development, 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges and boundary line adjustments. In 2008 Laura joined Atlas Nationwide and was tasked with developing and managing a department to oversee the title curative, closing and HOA processes on a national scale for our REO Clients. She also built a national network of the industry’s leading title and closing vendors in order to help provide area-specific expertise. When away from the office Laura enjoys spending time with her three children, working out at the gym, running at the beach, watching sports and taking advantage of the California sunshine.

Brian Devlin – Vice President/Valuations and Field Services

Brian Devlin in 1993 founded a local real estate appraisal company serving southern California. Since inception, has over 20 years of experience in real estate analysis, consultation and valuation. Throughout his career, he has analyzed and supervised the analysis and valuation of a variety of types of real property. He has worked with numerous federal agencies including FHA and HUD. He has also worked extensively with the GSE’s, and numerous Financial Institutions, Mortgage Bankers and Investors. Brian is licensed in California as both a Certified RE Appraiser and RE Broker. Prior to joining Atlas Nationwide in 2008, Brian worked as Field Operations Manager at GMAC-RFC from 2004-2008 and successfully led a team responsible for REO assets in California.

Jeff Bourke – Team Manager/REO and Referral Services

A licensed Real Estate Broker in California, Jeff joined Atlas Nationwide in 2007 after leaving his role as a Team Lead at GMAC-RFC. Jeff’s primary role is managing client teams in the REO Services division, as well as having a leadership role in the development of the Atlas Nationwide Referral Network. At Atlas Nationwide, Jeff has been responsible for a team of 30+ employees servicing bank owned properties for such clients as JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America and Fannie Mae. Originally from Montana, Jeff studied international business and Japanese at the University of Montana before making his home in San Diego. He enjoys a number of activities, including traveling, golf, snowboarding, and mountain biking in his free time.

Tamarah Prado – Team Manager/Premarketing and Vendor Management

Tamarah is responsible for the creation and implementation of many of our Client policies and procedures. She has successfully executed the Premarketing phase of the REO process for many clients and manages a large staff at 2 U.S. locations. In addition, she oversees the Vendor Management department for Atlas’ companywide vendor network and is responsible for company-wide training and compliance with Client Contract requirements. In 1998, Tamarah became a certified loan processor with GMAC Mortgage and later moved on to Default Servicing as a Foreclosure Specialist with Homecomings Financial. In 2007, Tamarah joined Atlas Nationwide not only managing the largest account for the company, but also creating and implementing the first ever Vendor Management Department. When she isn’t glued to a computer screen, you can find her on the softball field coaching her two girls or watching a game with her husband with her dog Leo on her lap.

Michael Anderson – Team Manager/Business Intelligence & Reporting Services

After graduating from San Diego State University with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting, Michael worked at Homecomings Financial, a GMAC/RFC subsidiary where he gained experience in a real estate servicing environment and fueled his passion for process management, developing system tools that increased his units’ productivity 5X. Michael then worked for an outsource technology company where he was the Network Infrastructure Manager overseeing a team of technicians supporting the phone and computer networks for more than 50 small / medium size businesses. In 2008 Michael was recruited by an REO outsourcer where he started as an Asset Manager, and within 2 years was promoted to Portfolio Manager for the Fannie Mae account. Since joining Atlas Nationwide in November 2011, Michael has taken the leadership role in the system development and business analytics/reporting, bringing his knowledge of process management and ‘out of the box’ thinking to the forefront.
